A professional-strength upgrade for guests dealing with dandruff, flakes, redness, itchiness, oil imbalance, or stubborn scalp buildup.

This treatment works deeper than standard cleansing to help break down buildup, reduce visible flakes, calm irritation, and rebalance the scalp without harsh stripping or scrubbing. It supports a cleaner, lighter, healthier-feeling scalp and helps relieve ongoing discomfort or scalp stress.

Q: Can you do Head Spa treatments on curly hair?

A: Yes, absolutely—everyone is welcome, including clients with naturally curly or textured hair. We offer a complimentary Curly Hair Care Add-On, specially designed for curl patterns ranging from 3A to 4C. This add-on ensures your hair and scalp receive the attention they deserve while preserving curl integrity.

Q: I have hair extensions. Can I get a Head Spa treatment?

A: Yes, clients with extensions, including wefts, are welcome to book Head Spa services. During the treatment, we avoid massaging directly over the extension attachment points, especially if they are tight or recently installed, to ensure your comfort and maintain the effectiveness of the service

However, tape-in extensions or any type of extensions that can be loosened or removed by oil, steam, or moisture are not recommended for Head Spa treatments. These types of extensions are likely to come out during the service due to the use of massage oils, water flow, and steam.

Aqua Lucca is not responsible for any damage that may occur to your extensions during the service. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to accept all risks related to extension care.

Q: Are Head Spa treatments safe during pregnancy?

A: Yes. Our services are thoughtfully designed to be safe and supportive for pregnant clients. We exclusively use holistic remedies and pregnancy-safe products to promote well-being and relaxation. Please inform us at the time of booking so we can make any necessary accommodations to enhance your comfort during the treatment.

Q: Is blow-dry included?

A: Blow-dry is not included with our Head Spa treatments. If you wish to get a professional blow-dry and styling, please select the Head Spa + Blowout Bundle or choose the blow-dry add-on during online booking. This must be selected in advance, as we may not be able to accommodate last-minute blow-dry requests due to appointment timing.

The blow-dry service is $75 and is performed by our trained Head Spa therapists, who are also licensed hair stylists.

We also offer a self-dry option, but please note this is limited to 10 minutes maximum using our hair dryer, out of consideration for the next guest’s appointment.
